This book was a challenge to read, due to its sheer size and also its amazing changes in writing style

We all felt it to be one of the most original reads the book club has had to date, and those who did not manage to complete it in four weeks went on to finish it the following month

The author's confidence in changing from style to style and storyline to storyline was exhilerating and, at times, exhausting

The book was felt to encompass farce, humour, narrative, sci-fi, thriller resulting in a haunting, thought-provoking novel
