We all enjoyed this book and felt it was a pleasant change from contemporary writing styles. We found it humourous and witty, but were surprised how much dialogue there was, wth very little descriptive narrative.
Many of us had seen the film so knew the story line; for those of us who had not, we felt the story was well developed but all rather inevitable...
