The group agreed that this book was disappointing - we had all expected that, given the subject matter, we would find this book emotionally draining yet none of us felt that this was the case.
None of us felt much empathy with any of the characters, though we did agree that there were several moving and evoactive descriptions in the book.
The book provided for a good discussion on the ethics invloved and we all felt that it was an accurate portrayal of the character's lives and a fair represnetation of the moral issues.
